On August 1st, 2026, our local karate community traded the dojo for the ocean, hosting their first-ever Summer Cooler Boatride aboard the Ocean Pelican in Chaguaramas!

It was the perfect way to celebrate the Emancipation Day holiday. The sun was shining, the coolers were fully stocked, and the vibes were absolutely infectious. DJs Sensational Sammy and Brandon understood the assignment, keeping an eager crowd moving from start to finish.

But the undisputed highlight of the cruise? An epic, impromptu kata performance right on the deck by Brandon Holder, Jeremiah Armstrong, and Sensei Shiraz Mohammed. A massive thank you to all the karatekas and parents who came out and made this an unforgettable day on the water!
