TTKU National Team Selection

The TTKU Selection Committee has noted a general improvement of the standard of the performance of karate presented. Congratulations to all of you for the progress you have made in your karate and thank you for taking part in the Trials. Once again we recommend that you all continue to pay attention to the ten criteria of the WKF KATA RULES and the six criteria for scoring in the WKF KUMITE RULES and train to meet these criteria as you journey towards karate excellence. The Selection Committee encourage those who have not been selected this time to continue your journey. Please pay more attention to strength and conditioning and the use of better biomechanics in your training to enhance your karate.

Those who were not selected we thank you for attending the trials and we extend best wishes to all of you as you continue your journey in karate for sport. The TTKU appreciates all the work you do to promote karate in Trinidad & Tobago.
